Directions by Bus
Providence can be reached by direct service from either Greyhound Bus or Peter Pan Bus.
The Providence Bus Terminal is two miles north of campus, so do not get off there! Get off at the Downtown Providence stop. This will leave you in or near Kennedy Plaza.

Walk east along Washington Street (you will be walking against traffic on a one-way street). Cross the river and go up College Hill. You should find yourself on Waterman Street. Continue for five blocks through the Brown campus. The CIT building is on the south-west corner of Waterman Street and Brook Street, right next to the 14-story Sciences library.
Catch the Trolley
The RIPTA Trolley will take you from Kennedy Plaza to the CIT for $1.50 (exact change). Take the Green Line (RIPTA bus route "92 East") - the trolley is marked "Fox Point". Check the schedule online. Get off at the first stop after the tunnel. This is the intersection of Thayer Street and Waterman Street. The department is a block away.
