Computer Science Faculty Position in Experimental Software Systems

We invite applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in computer science starting no later than September 1, 2003. We are seeking outstanding applicants in all areas of experimental software systems. We are especially interested in candidates who will foster, nurture, and expand our existing systems strengths or who will build new strengths that are synergistic to our current ones.

The Department of Computer Science has been growing steadily in recent years in all areas of computer science. The department expects to increase its systems group by several positions over the next few years. The successful candidate will be in a position to influence and contribute to the future directions of our systems efforts.

Candidates must have completed all the requirements for the doctoral degree by no later than September 1, 2003, and should meet the teaching and research needs of the department. The initial appointment will be for three years and is renewable.
