CS15 TA Hours Rules

In the Fishbowl

  • We will be using a waitlist which only allows you to come up to TA hours 1 time per hour.
  • If there is a long line, the TA may place a time limit on how much time he/she spends with each student.
  • After adding yourself to the waitlist, please wait in the sunlab and we will zwrite you when it is your turn.
  • A TA who has the last shift of the night has the right to close off the waitlist at 11:30pm if it is getting too long.

Sunlab Rules

  • You should not approach the sunlab consultant and ask cs015 related questions.
  • Do not zwrite TAs questions in the sunlab, they have their own work to do as well.

General Guidelines

  • Do not approach a TA outside of hours (in the Ratty, in dorms, etc.) with your questions.
  • TAs will not answer questions which can easily be answered by resources off the reference page, javadocs, or are in the lecture slides.
  • If you have a compiler error, please try to figure it out yourself before asking a TA.
