3/31
- After today's class, we went to Wheeler to meet with Dorothy and to update her on the status of the program. We reviewed the changes made in the past few weeks, as well as our estimates of what is feasible given the time frame.
- Dorothy agreed on a revised, "two-step" structure
- Part 1: Review. This section will contain interactive exercises, as well as a review and glossary of important terms.
- Part 2: Assesment. This section will incorporate Dorothy's existing text-based questions with in-depth explanations of the answers. Students will be given a grade on their performance, which may have the option of being printed out.
- Discussed ideas for exercises, set guidelines for basic button principles
- Dorothy demonstrated the use of a "word bank", a mixed list of vocabulary that she sometimes lets students use on tests. This may be incorporated into the project.
