Description
This course investigates the new field of sponsored search auctions. Although students will be exposed to the field from the point of view of both the search engine and the advertiser, the course's focus is on advertisers' bidding algorithms. The students will implement novel bidding agents, and the course will culminate in a competition among the students' agents.
Students who obtained permission from the instructor or completed CSCI0190 or CSCI0150&CSCI0160 or CSCI0170&CSCI0180 can register for the course. CSCI1410 is a co-requisite.
