TA Waitlist: How it Works
The TA waitlist was created so students don't have to sit outside the TA room for hours, waiting on line for a TA. We also don't want to have to call down to the Sunlab every 5 minutes to get the next person.When a student needs TA help, they must go upstairs to the TA room and add themselves to the waitlist. If they are lower than number 3 on the list, they can go back downstairs and continue coding. When the person becomes number 3 on the list, a zwrite message will pop up on their screen telling them to come upstairs. If the student is not there when their turn comes, the waitlist will send another zwrite to the student's screen. Students can check their position on the waitlist from the dumb terminal to the right of 9a.
