Courses Using the Sun Lab

If your class uses the Sun Lab for weekly classes or only occasionally during the semester, you should know:
  1. There is a broadcasting facility available for the X Window System. It can broadcast any X application(s). If you are interested in this feature, please contact a member of the tstaff.
  2. A program called nologin has been written to prevent students from logging onto machines in the Sun Lab during class. Use nologin -h for help with nologin. Only TAs have execute permission for nologin
