Lubrano Conference Room (CIT 4th Floor)

I will discuss recent on-going projects at the frontier between the Arts and Computing. These include:

(i) AIKON: The Artistic/Automatic IKONograph a collaboration with the artist/drawer Patrick Tresset where we are studying the process of creating portraits and attempting to isolate his stylistic signature (http://doc.gold.ac.uk/aikon/wp/)

(ii) MUTATORS: A collaboration with artist William Latham and PhD candidate Miki Grahame, where we are pushing forward the interaction between genetics, evolution and art. (http://doc.gold.ac.uk/~latham/)

(iii) If time permits, I'll discuss a few more projects in the arts, landscaping, perception (http://www.doc.gold.ac.uk/morpholingua/)
