Chinese Restaurants

Little Chopsticks

Go along Smith Street behind the Rhode Island capital building. Reasonable in price and quality, Little Chopsticks was probably the most popular Chinese restaurant in the area. I think it has gone downhill a lot in the last couple of years.

Chef Chan
752 Hope Street, which is too far to walk from campus, unfortunately. Phone: 272-8823

Perhaps not as good as Little Chopsticks, but it is cheap (entrees in the $6-9 range), has good vegetarian dishes and offers quick take-out service.

Hunan Garden
464 Silver Spring Road, Providence. Phone: 831-6160

Four Seasons
361 Reservoir Av, Providence. Phone: 461-5651

Vietnamese, Thai, Cambodian and Szechuan. The things I have tried there were much better than Little Chopsticks, though once we got some chicken that seemed somewhat undercooked.

China Inn
285 Main , Pawtucket

mtl@cs.brown.edu
Cantonese food.
