Just in time for recruiting season, VMWare is coming by to talk to WiCS.
Tuesday 5-6pm in CIT 410, with Kabob and Curry!

Learn from two VMware engineers what it is like to work as a female in the software field:

Choosing between graduate school/industry vs. academia
Transitioning into your first fulltime role after graduation
What is it like to work as a female engineer at VMware
Career path leading into management
Importance of work/life balance

There is also an WiCS open meeting right before at 4pm, same place, where Meeting Street cookies will be served and we will talk about the plans we have for the semester.

Come to our ValenWiSE Day event this Wednesday, February 8th from 7-9 pm in the Science Center.
We will also be making Valentines and decorating cupcakes! So if you have someone special you want to make a card for, a sweet tooth, or want to get to know other women in science and engineering then come by!!
