Color Theory Programs: A series of Java applets teaching basic concepts about color theory. One set teaches about additive and subtractive mixing and the other takes a more technical approach and presents color perception in terms of the interaction of the eye's color responses.
The Amazing Transformation Game: A Java applet for 3D modelers or beginning graphics programmers who want to get a better feel for the order of object transformations.
Scaling and Filtering Lab: A Java applet that provides a lab-style environment for experimenting with the effect of filters. A bit on the technical side for artists and designers with no programming background, but helps to explain what the "resample image" choices of "nearest neighbor, "bilinear", and "bicubic" refer to in Adobe Photoshop.
