I am an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Brown University. My research group, Robotics, Learning and Autonomy at Brown (r,lab), explores topics related to human-robot interaction and robot learning. I am particularly interested in "bringing robots to the people". That is, finding ways for typical human users of technology to program (or teach) robots that behave according to their expectations. Towards this end, my research examines problems relating to robot learning from demonstration, robot perception of humans, dexterous manipulation, dimension reduction of robot experiences, and human-robot collaboration. I also dabble in projects and courses in games technology research.
