Welcome to my homepage. I am a third year PhD student in Computer Science at Brown University in Providence RI, U.S.A.. I come from the beautiful town of Trikala, located in central Greece.

I am working with professors Roberto Tamassia (Information Security Algorithms, Sensor Networks) and Franco P. Preparata (Sensor Networks).

Before coming to Brown, I was with the Department of Computer Science, University of Crete (03-05), Heraklion, Greece, where I earned my MSc degree in Computer Science (major in Algorithmics, minor in Information Systems), working with professor Ioannis G. Tollis on nice graph theoretic problems. During my graduate studies in Crete, I was also with the Institute of Computer Science, FORTH, as a research fellow, where I worked at the Information Systems Laboratory.

I earned my BSc degree in Informatics (99-03) from the University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, Greece. There I contributed to some research on network algorithms with professors K. Paparrizos and N. Samaras.

During the summer of 2008, I worked as a research intern with Petros Maniatis at Intel Research Berkeley.
