CG11 - Perception Illusion and the Visual Arts - Spring 2003

How many black dots do you see?

Click on the grid to see my optical illusion web page. It was my final project for a Cognitive Sciences class.

CS32 - Software Engineering - Spring 2003

Here are some screenshots from my CS34 final project, "MagnumXS". The game is in the "vertical scrolling shooter" genre. The user pilots a ship amongst swarms of enemies, blasting away at them with rapid fire guns. MagnumXS was a five person project carried out over the course of about six weeks. For my part, I wrote the 3D graphics engine using OpenGL. The other group members on the project were Haru Sakai, Jason Rodriguez, Jennifer Wong, and Stacy Wong. MagnumXS was originally built for Linux but it has since been ported to Windows by Jason. I'm extremely pleased with how this project turned out considering the extremely short time period to work on it.

CS123 - Intro Graphics - Fall 2002

This is a screenshot from the ray tracer I build for CS123. It does reflections, shadows, and specular highlights! CS123 is an awesome course. I recommend it to anyone.
