Graphics and visualization are prominent application domains of
constraint systems. This workshop aims at bringing together
researchers and practitioners to access the state of the art in this
field and discuss future research directions. The workshop will be
one day long, and will take place in the same location as the main
conference. The technical program includes two invited talks by
leaders in the area, a panel discussion, and presentations of
contributed papers.
Facilities will be available for presenting audio-visual material.

Authors are invited to submit electronically papers (in English, at most 18 pages) or short papers (in English, at most 8 pages). Simultaneous submission to other conferences or journals is not allowed. In addition to papers describing original research work, surveys and position papers are sought. Submissions should be in the form of a single uuencoded compressed PostScript file sent by email to ifc@cs.brown.edu, accompanied by a separate email message with the following information on the paper: title, kind of submission, author(s), affiliation(s), and address of the contact author. Please make sure that your PostScript file can be previewed with Ghostview and is printable on a standard PostScript printer. If electronic submission is not possible, please contact one of the chairs to make special arrangements, at least one week before the deadline.
