PhD

I'm currently working with Anna Lysyanskaya on Electronic Cash (e-cash) and its applications. Please see my cryptography page for more details. My research covers the intersection of Cryptography, Game Theory and Mechanism Design, and Peer-to-Peer Networks.

MS

My master's project was with Uğur Çetintemel on Sensor Networks. The project focused on optimization issues which arise when multiple heterogeneous sensors are used in a multi-task, multi-user environment. My master's thesis can be found on here.

BS

My senior project was a geographic information systems (GIS) project under the supervision of Cevdet Aykanat. Our team (myself, Deniz Akdur, and Ferit Akova) won the “Best Senior Project” award with that project.

We also prepared a prototype for an European Union (EU) funding application on natural language processing (NLP) during summer 2003, working under supervision of Kemal Oflazer, at Sabancı University.
