Brown Computer Science: The Honors Accumulate

Chad Jenkins' recent PECASE award and Anna Lysyanskaya's Sloan Research Fellowship are two more honors recently garnered by our junior faculty, and part of continuing recognition for our outstanding faculty and students: two named professorships, an honorary degree, three undergraduate teaching awards, two PECASE Awards, two Sloan Fellowships, four NSF CAREER Awards, an ONR Young Investigator, a Tech Review Top Young Investigator, an ACM Gödel Prize, an IEEE Technical Achievement award, three ACM Fellows, two ISI Highly Cited researchers, two best selling books, multiple best paper awards, and several NSF and NSERC Fellowships for our graduate and undergraduate students.

And that's just in the past three years!

We've also attracted substantial funding to open new, well-equipped labs and centers that take the department's research in new directions.
