STEMPad
STEMPad is an overarching vision of a pen-centric application that students and professionals would use to conceive, explore, and archive solutions to a broad range of predominantly STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) problems. The purpose of STEMPad is to computationally augment, but not detrimentally alter, the most general and familiar problem solving interface of pencil-and-paper interactions. A major milestone on the way to achieving STEMPad is the *Pad project. *Pad will be STEMPad's pen-centric computing framework that facilitates modular design by supporting gesture-driven, domain-specific plug-ins that can interoperate with each other.
