Visualization of Topological Defects in Liquid Crystals
The structure of liquid crystal materials typically contains defects. In this project we explore methods for visually exploring and understanding the structure and temporal evolution of these defects. Many of the methods we explore are derived from similar approaches for visualizing diffusion MRI data of brains.
