Thank you for you inquiry about the FIELD system.

The software is available without charge via ftp at 128.148.19.15
(ftp.cs.brown.edu).  However, while some doc and many of the
utilities are in the pub directory, to get the FIELD software
itself you will need a password.  To get the password, please
send email to brusd@cs.brown.edu with a phone number (and a fax
number if possible).

We will also provide the software on various media at media
cost if you cannot ftp.  For licence and order forms also send
email to brusd@cs.brown.edu with an physical address.

We also maintain a mail group of field users.  Send email to
spr@cs.brown.edu if you want to be included in this list.

Articles on the system have appeared in the July 90 issue of
IEEE Software, the June 90 issue of Software Practice and
Experience, and last April's USENIX C++ workshop.  A book on
the system will be published by Kluwer by the end of 1994.
