The Artemis Project is a summer and year-round program which introduces 8th grade girls to basic computer skills, such as word processing and publishing webpages. It also creates an environment in which participants can discuss issues relevant to their lives. The program has been running for three years, and continues to expand under new leadership. The project is dynamic because the coordinators are two different Brown undergraduate women each year, so it is best to take a look at each of the programs' homepages...
