The Greenhouse is a project of the National Science Foundation's
Graphics and Visualization Center. It is a resource for teachers in
any discipline who wish to use 3D computer graphics in their courses.
These resources were created by teachers from a range of disciplines
including computer science, math, biology, physics, industrial
technology, and art and design. The resources available include
lesson plans, exercises/activities, and interactive software.
These Curricular Resources--Concept Illustrations, Lesson Plans, and Descriptions of Class Exercises--were conceived and begun during a three-week workshop for High School Teachers at National Science Foundation's Graphics and Visualization Center. The Workshop, held at the Center's Brown University site gave the teachers the time, facilities, and technical support necessary to plan and begin to execute their own projects. We sincerely hope that you find these various resources valuable.
