Email Discussion Lists
Mailman electronic discussion lists are created for groups or classes that want to share information with users included within the group or class' list.
Each list is assigned an administer who can tweak the many options that are available; such as archiving, bounce processing, content filtering, and spam filters.
These options, and many more, are explained at the official Mailman web site.
These are the lists that are running here in Computer Science.
