Windows Software
This page lists software distributed by the Department Technical Staff. Machines managed by tstaff will have the latest versions listed below. Notebooks and faculty/staff home machines are distributed with this list of software current as of when the machine was built.
The Research list of software is installed on machines designated for CS research, which comprises most machines used by the department. The Special list of software contains items that are available, but not installed on all machines due to license restrictions.
Keyed software needs to be able to connect to the Brown key server when run. It can only be used when connected to the Brown network or VPN'd into the department.
