The 101 FORUM is a lecture series
whose objective is to foster intellectual contacts among diverse
scholarly fields, in hope to strengthen the concept of the unity of
culture.
Typically once a month
at 8:00pm,
a Brown faculty
member in the humanities, or the sciences, or the social sciences, is
invited to present a lecture to a nonspecialistic but highly motivated
audience of faculty, students, and general public.
The series, now in its eighth year,
is run by Brown faculty on a zero budget.
