A major part of my current research focuses on recognizing various 2D handwritten notations for pen-centric computing, and I am working with Prof. Andries van Dam and members of the Microsoft Center for Research on Pen-Centric Computing.
 
My dissertation research studied the recognition and segmentation of 3D human motions, including hand gestures and full-body motions, and won the 2006 Best Dissertation Award in Computer Science at UT Dallas.
