Walk through the Park Row (south) exit of the train station. Proceed south on Exchange Street, crossing the river. Turn left onto Memorial Boulevard and then left again onto Steeple Street. Follow Steeple Street across the river again, and up College Hill (Steeple Street becomes Thomas Street). Halfway up the hill, turn right on Benefit Street, then immediately left onto Waterman Street. Follow Waterman Street for four blocks. The CIT building is on the south-west corner of Waterman Street and Brook Street, right next to the 14-story Sciences library.
Catch the Trolley
The RIPTA Trolley will take you from Kennedy Plaza to the CIT for $1.50 (exact change). Take the Green Line (RIPTA bus route "92 East") - the trolley is marked "Fox Point". Check the schedule online. Get off at the first stop after the tunnel. This is the intersection of Thayer Street and Waterman Street. The department is a block away; follow the flow of traffic on Waterman Street and you will see our five-story brick building ahead on the right.
