Final Project Ideas

These ideas are all possible final projects. I have purposely chosen interesting, open-ended projects; some that involve real data that someone is interested in, others that work on problems or ideas that are new, or that solve problems for which good tools are not widely available.

Final projects will be worked out in a series of project meetings, to ensure that the project scope is limited to something that can be reasonably completed in the time available, but is large enough to be meaningful.
